By sending in a control unit or booking a service with SSSTuning (Shalalvand Speeding Shop), org. no. 938 157 642, you accept the terms below.
The service
SSSTuning performs bench work on engine control units (ECUs): diagnostics, repair, cloning, programming/coding, and reading and backup. The customer removes and sends in the control unit, or delivers it in person. Work is carried out on the bench, not while fitted in the vehicle.
Sending in your unit
- The customer is responsible for removing and packaging the unit securely for shipping.
- When sending in a unit, please provide the car make, model, model year and a description of the fault or the work requested.
- SSSTuning is not responsible for damage that occurs during transport to us.
Price and payment
Price is agreed before work begins, either as a fixed price or an estimate based on the description provided. The final price may differ if the fault turns out to be more extensive than initially assumed, in which case the customer is contacted before work continues. Payment is made on delivery or as otherwise agreed.
Turnaround time
An estimated turnaround time is provided at booking. This can vary depending on the complexity of the fault and the availability of parts or data.
Liability
SSSTuning carries out work with professional care and in line with best practice. We are not liable for:
- Faults or damage caused by factors outside the control unit itself (e.g. faults in the vehicle's other electronics or mechanical systems).
- Consequential damage occurring after the unit has been refitted to the vehicle by the customer or a third party.
- Use of the vehicle in breach of applicable regulations. It remains the customer's own responsibility to ensure the vehicle is lawfully registered and approved for road use, independent of any work carried out on the control unit.
Complaints
Complaints about completed work should be sent to post@ssstuning.no as soon as the issue is discovered. Standard complaint rights under Norwegian consumer purchase law apply to work carried out for private individuals.
Right of withdrawal
For services carried out before the withdrawal period expires, where the customer has expressly requested that work begin immediately, the right of withdrawal lapses once the work is completed, in accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.
Changes to these terms
SSSTuning may update these terms as needed. The current version is always available on this page.
