SSSTuning is responsible for processing your personal data when you contact us via the website, phone or email. We only process the data necessary to answer your enquiry and deliver our services.

What personal data we collect
When you use the contact form on the website, we collect the following data:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Registration number of the vehicle (if you provide it)
- Message – the free text you write to us
Data you provide by phone or email is processed in the same way.
The data you provide is voluntary, but necessary for us to answer your enquiry and book an appointment. Without it, we cannot contact you.
Purpose and legal basis
We process the data in order to:
- Answer your enquiry and provide a quote.
- Book and carry out tuning appointments.
- Provide customer service and follow-up.
The legal basis for processing is consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the box in the form, as well as pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in order to answer and follow up on your request.
Sharing and data processors
We never sell or rent your data. To deliver the service, we use the following data processors:
- EmailJS – a technical service that delivers email from the contact form to our inbox. The data is processed solely to relay the message.
Data is only shared with authorities where required by law.
Retention period
We only store data for as long as necessary for the purpose:
- Enquiries are deleted once the matter is closed, normally within 12 months of last contact.
- Invoicing and accounting records are stored in accordance with the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act (10 years). This applies to transactions only, not marketing.
Cookies
Our website does not use cookies for tracking, analytics or marketing. The technical email service (EmailJS) may set essential technical cookies for the form to work. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Security
We have technical and organisational measures in place to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. The form is protected by a honeypot filter to prevent automated spam.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access – know what data we hold about you.
- Rectification – correct inaccurate or outdated data.
- Erasure – request that your data be deleted.
- Restriction – temporarily suspend processing.
- Data portability – receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection – object to our processing of your data.
- Withdraw consent – at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
